A preschool setting is often the child's first opportunity to expand their world of people and ideas. Learning to adjust to others, to have confidence in adults other than parents, and to develop independence in action and thought are important to emotional growth. The purpose of Learning Lane Preschool is to establish a partnership with parents to provide supervised play and educational instruction in a Christian setting. Our parent co-op is run by parents of our students and a director (teacher). The parent is responsible for being in attendance as a helper in the classroom on a rotational basis. Being a teacher helper gives the parent an opportunity to see first hand how their child is responding to the preschool experience and be involved in their learning process.
